Do You Need Help?
If you think you have a drug problem, N.A. can help!
You have a couple of options if you wish to ask for help dealing with your own problem of addiction:
- You can search for a meeting near you.
- You can call one of the Helplines, or contact us by Email:
If the problem is with a friend or family member, we can only be of limited help, as N.A. is a program of personal recovery. We do not provide any intervention, detoxification or rehabilitation services. These services should be provided by trained and certified professionals in a clinical setting.
If you are a friend or a family member of an addict, or someone that you think may have a problem with drugs, follow this link to find out about a fellowship dedicated to family members or friends of addicts.
In any case, feel free to attend an open meeting of Narcotics Anonymous if you want to find out more. Open meetings allow anyone to attend. Closed meetings are limited to only those who believe that they may have a problem with personal drug addiction.
If you are incarcerated, isolated, homebound or have medical problems, you can reach our Outreach Subcommittee. Do this by going to our Contact Page, and selecting the “Outreach Subcommittee Email Contact” choice, or by sending a letter to our general PO Box, specifying “Attn: Outreach.”
